Wortkunst des Nordens
At the most popular Poetry Slam in the Hanseatic city, poets perform their own written texts—poems, stories, or improvisations—which are then judged by the audience. By the end of the evening, the best text wins.
SimsalaSLAM was founded in 2012 and has not only hosted countless unforgettable evenings, attracting up to 300 people, but also published the anthology "Wortkunst des Nordens" ("Word Art of the North"). After a long break, SimsalaSLAM is finally making its comeback, bringing the local scene back to life.
