Robert-Kahn-Trio

Clarinet trios from the CDF period...

The Robert Kahn Trio - Friederike Fechner (cello), Steffen Dillner (clarinet) and Mari Namera (piano) - will perform works by Arvo Pärt (*1935) "Mozart Adagio", Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) "Gassenhauer Trio" in B flat major op. 11 and Louise Ferranc (1804-1875) Clarinet Trio in E flat major op. 44,  complemented by a reading of letters: correspondence between Caspar David Friedrich, Philipp Otto Runge and Friedrich August von Klinkowström. Gunnar Peters, Chairman of the Förderverein Schloss - und Gutshofanlage Ludwigsburg e.V., will be reciting.

Mari Namera, born in Tokyo, started taking piano lessons at the age of three and received many high awards in competitions such as the Japan Player's Competition, Roze Piano Competition, the Verona International Piano Competition and the Yachiyo Music Competition (1st prize). Since then she has performed regularly in piano recitals and as a soloist with orchestras in Japan and Germany. She studied at the Geidai University of the Arts in Tokyo with Prof. Kei Itoh, at the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof. Elena Lapitskaja and Prof. Björn Lehmann and since 2015 at the Rostock University of Music and Drama with Prof. Bernd Zack.

Steffen Dillner studied with Prof. Wolfgang Mäder in Leipzig and in postgraduate studies with Reiner Wehle and Sabine Meyer at the Musikhochschule Lübeck. During this time, he won numerous prizes in national and international competitions with the arirang-quintett. Concert tours with this ensemble have taken him to almost every continent in the world. He is a scholarship holder of the Federal President, the "Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation" and the German Music Competition Berlin. He was included in the German Music Council's national selection of "Concerts by Young Artists". He has played with renowned German orchestras under conductors such as Riccardo Chailly, Herbert Blomstedt, Kurt Masur and Fabio Luisi. He has been a member of the Dresden Festival Orchestra since 2015.

Friederike Fechner, born in Hanover, studied cello at the Hanover and Basel conservatories with Klaus Storck, Radu Aldulescu and Boris Pergamenschikow and at the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington/USA. Master classes with Pierre Fournier, William Pleeth and others, member of various chamber music formations: "Duo Pavane" (works for cello and harp), "Cello&Mallets" with Matthias Suter on marimba and vibraphone, "Robert Kahn-Trio", duos with programs about Jewish composers with guitar or piano. Teaches at the Stralsund Music School.
