DT64 - The youth radio and its movement Exhibition, daily from 2-6 pm
"Power from the Eastside!" was the self-confident jingle of youth radio DT64, the coolest East German medium. After reunification, the station was threatened with extinction. Resistance was formed in 1991/92. Across the broadcasting area, in East and West, networked nationwide. This was also the case in Greifswald. 30 years later, the project looks back on how DT64 survived the shutdown. But also on the futile rebellion after the loss of the north.
Exhibition runs until Oct. 30, 2022, daily 2-6 pm and during STRAZEcafé opening hours or on request kultur@straze.de, +49 (0) 157 33 28 78 79.
The Koeppenhaus, STRAZE and Medienzentrum Greifswald, together with other partners, have brought the exhibition curated by Alexander Pehlemann ("ZONIC", "Spannung. Leistung. Widerstand. Magnetbanduntergrund") to Greifswald and are looking forward to many guests and discussions. After Greifswald the exhibition moves on to Rostock to Frieda 23. Opening Nov. 4, Organizer: Heinrich Böll Foundation MV
