Stories from the liberated territories in Ukraine. Exhibition
“Healed Lands” is a series of articles published as part of the project “Stories from the Liberated Territories” by the Ukrainian online magazine “The Ukrainians” in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
The stories on display show that the people of Ukraine are not giving up and not waiting for external help, but are actively bringing life back to their homes and communities – even though the war is still raging.
In their texts, the authors report on the renewal of life in the areas temporarily occupied or besieged by the Russian army. Based on personal experiences of war, they tell stories of people who, despite difficult times, draw strength to continue living and encourage others.
