Exhibition opening and discussion, among others with curator Julia Żmuda, on the poster exhibition “Ey! Ey!” featuring works by artists from the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
The poster exhibition deals with women's rights in the broadest sense — from local problems and issues to the difficulties of everyday life of the FLINTA* community to the global situation of women. It is a look at the modern world through the eyes of artists from the Pomerania region, a commentary and an invitation to reflect and, above all, to discuss. What is the current situation of women*? Should it even be generalized? Have we seen positive changes in recent years? And is the essence of feminism in the 21st century still the ubiquitous and intuitive sisterhood?
Start: 6 pmAdmission: free
The exhibition can then be visited from March 8 to the end of May on every Sunday and Monday from 2 to 6 pm (and by appointment) in the STRAZEsaal. Admission is free.
An event and exhibition as part of the ID:Pomerania project, funded by the Interreg VI A Cooperation Program Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania / Brandenburg / Poland 2021–2027.
