19. August 2022 ///

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine - solidarity networks, now more than ever!

With activists from Ukraine and Russia.

An opportunity to get to know each other during three days, to understand different situations and attitudes and to act together - here, in Ukraine and in Russia.

Translation in English and German.

August 26 - 28, 2022

Solidarity networks have always been important, now they are once again necessary for survival. Fundamental values seem to be lost, positions harden, practical solidarity seemed great for a short time, but does it last in the long run? There is much discussion, but how much is understood? We want to go a different way with you - strengthen old networks and weave new ones!

Let's listen, understand, ask, discuss - and move to action!

We have invited analysts and activists from Ukraine and Russia. We will talk about the impact of the Russian invasion on Ukrainian society, left-wing political struggles, the Russian anti-war movement and on us personally. We also hear about two grassroots initiatives, their practical solidarity in Eastern Ukraine and discuss how we can support them.

Understanding is not only about the head: the polyphonic singers of the group Drevo take us into the diverse musical cultural heritage of different regions of Ukraine.

Connecting struggles!

Saturday afternoon we take a break in the program to have the possibility to go to the big demonstration in Rostock: "Then as now: Remembering means changing! 30 years after the pogrom in Rostock-Lichtenhagen".
