The delicate buds sprouting from the branches bring tears to the eyes of allergy sufferers, just as they do every year. When someone asks us what’s the matter, we can at least hide our misery by speaking in a half-choked voice and saying, “Finally, the sound of "Nordischer Klang" again!” It has become a tradition for some of the larger concerts to take place here, and because we are, at heart, old nonconformists, after the closing party we’re throwing in a silent film concert on Monday as a special treat.
