Vidkritki . Exhibition Opening // Ausstellungseröffnung

On March 6 at 6 pm the opening of the postcard exhibition "Vidkritki" will be held in the course room of the Straze //

Am 6. März findet im Kursraum der STRAZE die Ausstellungseröffnung zur Postkartenausstellung "Vidkritki" statt.

Exhibition of postcards designed by children from Kramatorsk (Donbass, Ukraine) 
A project dedicated to children's stories about their favourite places in their hometown.
The heroes of the project are Ukrainian children with refugee experience in Germany, internally displaced children and those living near the war zone.
Exhibitions have several objectives. One of them to collect children's unique memories of places lost in the war and trying to preserve peaceful images of those Ukrainian cities that are now only portrayed in military news reports.
Donbass artists will create a space for children to speak and be heard on behalf of their homes.
* Vidkritki is a made-up word, a mixture of Ukrainian and Russian, including the words "opening" and "postcards".

Project team
Nastya Malkina. Artist and illustrator. Activist and IDP from Lugansk. Organiser of several social and artistic projects with children and young people in the frontline towns of Donbass. Member of the loose collective of displaced artists "Lugansk Contemporary Diaspora".
Anna Naumkina. Writer from Lugansk. Participant in writing competitions, creative residencies and readings. She works on the theme of Donbass and the war in Ukraine. Participates in creative and social projects to help children from frontline towns in Ukraine.
Yevgeny Koroletov. Artist from Lugansk (Donbass, Ukraine). Organiser and participant in numerous cultural projects dedicated to the war in Ukraine, its preconditions and consequences. Member of the loose collective of displaced artists "Lugansk Contemporary Diaspora". Ex-combatant and anti-militarist.

The vernissage is on March 6 from 6 to 8 pm.
Furthermore the exhibition can be visited daily from March 7 to 12 between 2 and 6 pm.

The Project is supported by STRAZE, House of Resources Greifswald and European Civic Forum.
 

Ein Projekt, das den Geschichten von Kindern über ihre Lieblingsorte in ihrer Heimatstadt gewidmet ist.
Die Helden des Projekts sind ukrainische Kinder mit Fluchterfahrung in Deutschland, intern vertriebene Kinder und solche, die in der Nähe des Kriegsgebiets leben.
Die Ausstellung hat mehrere Ziele. Eines davon ist es, die einzigartigen Erinnerungen von Kindern an Orte zu sammeln, die im Krieg verloren gegangen sind, und zu versuchen, friedliche Bilder jener ukrainischen Städte zu bewahren, die heute nur noch in militärischen Nachrichtenberichten zu sehen sind.
Die Künstler aus dem Donbass werden einen Raum schaffen, in dem Kinder für ihre Heimat sprechen und gehört werden können.
* Vidkritki ist ein Kunstwort, eine Mischung aus Ukrainisch und Russisch, das die Wörter "Öffnung" und "Postkarten" enthält.

Das Projektteam
Nastya Malkina. Künstlerin und Illustratorin. Aktivistin und Binnenvertriebene aus Lugansk. Organisatorin mehrerer sozialer und künstlerischer Projekte mit Kindern und Jugendlichen in den Grenzstädten des Donbass. Mitglied des losen Kollektivs vertriebener Künstler "Lugansk Contemporary Diaspora".
Anna Naumkina. Schriftstellerin aus Lugansk. Teilnehmerin an Schreibwettbewerben, kreativen Residenzen und Lesungen. Sie arbeitet am  Thema Donbass und der Krieg in der Ukraine. Beteiligt sich an kreativen und sozialen Projekten zur Unterstützung von Kindern aus Frontstädten in der Ukraine.
Jewgeni Koroletow. Künstler aus Lugansk (Donbass, Ukraine). Organisator und Teilnehmer an zahlreichen Kulturprojekten, die sich mit dem Krieg in der Ukraine, seinen Voraussetzungen und Folgen befassen. Mitglied des losen Kollektivs vertriebener Künstler "Lugansk Contemporary Diaspora". Ex-Kombattant und Antimilitarist.

Die Vernissage findet am 6. März von 18 bis 20 Uhr statt.
Darüber hinaus kann die Ausstellung vom 7. bis 12. März täglich zwischen 14 und 18 Uhr besichtigt werden.

Das Projekt wird unterstützt von der STRAZE, dem House of Resources Greifswald und dem European Civic Forum.
